The Miniature Needle workers have been busy with their fingers this last year too....
As have the miniature soft toy makers.....
Throughout the weekend, there were demonstrations being given by our talented members, unfortunately I did not manage to get a picture of them all. However, here are a few of the demo's....
Miniature Paper Toll
Re-upholstery
Floral Art
Miniature Needlework/Knitting Baskets and kits
And at the end of a long day.....sitting and relaxing!!!
Throughout the weekend, we also had the usual Hourly Raffles - (small displays made by our members). I cannot show you these as I did not manage to get pics of all the boxes, however I do know that there were some very happy winners over the weekend! Ellen invited children to draw the raffle boxes and in return for drawing the raffle they were given a delightful little display box for themselves in the hope that it encourages children to be involved with miniatures!
By now it was time to draw the big winner out of the barrel, Ellen being Chairperson got the salubrious job of announcing the winner after one of our kind visitors pulled the ticket out of the barrel...
...and the winner is....Margaret! She was so thrilled when she had the house delivered to her door !!!
Congratulations to Margaret, we hope she enjoys her new home :)
So there we go folks, another Festival over. Once again, like last year, I apologise if I missed anyones display...if I did, please let me know and I can put any pics up you choose to send me.
Next year, we will be in a new venue which is yet to be announced, so keep your eyes on this site for further news!!!
