Here we are again, another month of the year gone by in a blink of an eye! Winter is here and its getting a bit damp and dark...roll on summer!
The meeting was a reasonably quiet one this month - a few of the members had been to the Sydney Miniature Fair and came back with a few 'little' nick knacks and displays - some brought them along to show and tell and others (like me!) forgot!
The following little display is of a old time photographer - the person bought this because her dad used to be a professional photographer back in the day - and believe or not, the model looks very much like her dad! (This is a 1/12th display)
The next little building is 1/48th and I believe a one of a kind. Sadly the lady that made this is probably not able to do any more work due to a problem with her eyesight. Its just the cutest little castle you will see. We have had a few items turn up for perusal to see what is going to be part of the Medieval section of this years Festival. This lovely building was constructed (or butchered kit!) by one of our newer members - looking forward to seeing it in the display.
Workshops were in full swing again - this was part 2 of a 4 part workshop. Last month we did the lounge room, this month was the bedroom and en suite.
There is a lot of concentrating going on here!
Decisions to be made!
And finally...items to be chosen and placed.
Another little workshop was held, getting some of the items for the lucky dips at the Festival ready.
So that's about all for this month, stay tuned!
